From time to time I get a few questions about diesel pump prices. I haven't talked about diesel prices in a while, so before you VW drivers storm my office (a Jetta Vendetta?), let me share with you a good article by Tyler Hamilton of the Toronto Star. As much as I like his last name, there is no known relation.

It is well about time,for NA American MFGS. to start looking seriously into R&D over this technology. It now has been well developped by the Germans, and there is no reason in the world why North America, should lag behind Europe and take a back seat to developping countries, already in on the diesel bandwagon.

Oil prices have receded from a 5-day high of $73 to $67 today (July 2), and wouldn't you guess how this translates into retail prices? Yes! HIGHER PRICES AT THE PUMP!
